Quick-Key Vending & Revalue System
The Revalue and Vending System provides for simple and extremely reliable unattended vending. This system works with either the Base10 System and/or the HECON Quick-Key System. It allows users to purchase and revalue their HECON Quick-Key buttons by using cash at self-access locations. These products are ideal for anywhere there needs to be unattended copier management. Just think, the person behind the counter doesn't need to give out change, cards or buttons anymore. The Revalue Station can be used independently to revalue a user's HECON Quick-Key or together with the Vending Station. The Vending Station can dispense a HECON Quick-Key to a user with values that you can pre-program yourself. User operation is simple and fast. The user purchases or revalues a HECON Quick-Key button at a given value by inserting a bill and touching on. He then walks to the copier and touches on the controller located on the copier. At this point, the copier is enabled. As copies are made, the value on the button decreases by the appropriate value - - either units or value. If a user wants more value on his button, he simply touches the button to the receptacle located on the Revalue Station. He then inserts a dollar amount of $1, $5, $10 or $20 into the bill acceptor and retouches the button to the receptacle. The additional value is then added to the button. In addition, the user can use the Revalue Station to view their button value on the display at any time. If a user wants a new HECON Quick-Key, he pushes the "to vend" button on the Vending Station and inserts a dollar amount into the bill acceptor on the Revalue Station. The newly valued HECON Quick-Key will be dispensed from the Vending Station and the user will be able to make copies. The Vending Station can hold up to 100 HECON Quick-Key buttons. The buttons are attached to a key chain mount (key fob) and stored in a clear, plastic container. Three additional vending stations can be attached for added availability of HECON Quick-Keys. If all stations are utilized, there could be a total of 400 available HECON Quick-Keys to your users. This means less down time of empty Vending Stations and less time for the key operator to load more buttons into the system.
The Quick-Key Cash Station An accessory for both Base10 and HECON Quick-Key Systems, the Cash Station enables you to debit a dollar amount from a user's HECON Quick-Key Button. This stand-alone unit is used in conjunction with a cash register. The Cash Station charges already existing debit value buttons with any amount entered in through the keypad. An LCD display shows the amount being debited and also prompts the user through the set up process. Also, the Cash Station keeps a total of the value charged from all buttons used at this station. This resettable totalizer can be used to reconcile totals from the cash register. The Cash Station has a port to connect our portable printer for hard copy reports on totals and the balance of up to 1,700 buttons used at the station. There is also a function to allow a supervisor to correct a transaction and credit an amount back to a HECON Quick-Key.
The Quick-Key Reset Controller An accessory for both Base10 and HECON Quick-Key Systems, the Reset Controller enables you to reset a Quick-Key Button programmed in credit mode back to zero and/or display debit buttons. This is a stand-alone unit that simply plugs into any standard power outlet. Its purpose is to display the number of copies made on HECON Quick-Key Buttons that have been programmed in the credit mode. Once a button is touched and the value is displayed, the value on the credit button is automatically reset to zero. In a copy shop application, the Reset Controller is often placed next to the cash register for easy display of copies made. The display on the controller will show the last amount until a programmable timeout is reached or a different button is touched.
Quick-Key Mounting Brackets There are two mounting bracket styles available to secure the controllers to or near the copier. Top/Front or rear brackets make the controller an integral part of the copier. Mounting brackets are made of heavy gauge steel to provide you with the most secure mounting possible. All necessary hardware is included.
