Base 10 Controller and Programming Card

The new HECON Quick-Key Base10 is so easy to use it's almost transparent to copier users. Base10 utilizes the same "touch" technology found on our more sophisticated HECON Quick-Key System but eliminates the need for a computer and software. Using the Base10 Programming Key, your Base10 System can be set up and ready to use in a matter of a few minutes.

Features

With a simple "touch" of a HECON Quick-Key Button (which can be mounted to just about anything - a card, a key chain, existing ID cards, etc.) you get absolute reliability. The HECON Quick-Key button is a high tech, microchip data carrying device. It has read/write capabilities that can be 50,000 times greater than that of magnetic cards. Additionally, Base 10 incorporates an error-free data transfer technology that is completely maintenance free and writes error-free data each and every time it's used. Base10 has no moving parts which means no mechanical belts, motors, etc. to jam or break, rendering your copier unusable.

The same Base10 Controller that is used to control the copier is now also where the setup takes place, thus eliminating the need for any additional equipment (and passing the enormous savings on to our customers).

An accessory to the Base10 System is the Reset Controller. After copies are made, the HECON Quick-Key button is touched on to the Reset Controller. The copy count or value of a Credit type HECON Quick-Key button is displayed for the programmed time out period. Then, in the same touch, the HECON Quick-Key button is cleared to zero. The Controller is ideal in copy shops for walk-in customers.

Also, Base10 can be used with our Vending and Revalue Stations. The Revalue Station can be used independently to revalue a user's HECON Quick-Key or together with the Vending Station which can dispense a HECON Quick-Key to a user witha value that has been pre-programmed. This Vending and Revalue System provides for simple and extremely reliable unattended vending.

Existing Base10 owners can upgrade to the even more powerful HECON Quick-Key Series I, Series II or Series III Systems for added tracking and reporting if needed.

HECON® warrants the Controllers of the HECON Quick-Key System (Series I, II and III and the Base10) System if properly used and installed will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the "life of the copier" as defined below.

The term "life of the copier" is valid when the following conditions are met:

(1) The Controller must reside on the original copier of installation,

(2) The serial number, make and model of the copier and the Controller must be registered with HECON by returning the warranty card that is included with your Controller. If such conditions are not met, the warranty period is one year from the original date of purchase.
